Default heated mirrors

I have heated mirrors!!! who would have thunk... first vehicle i have own with this option. I never really even thought about it untill one morning my whole vehicle was iced over, started truck, hit the 'rear' defrost button, switched my hvac to defrost, scraped my windshield, rolled down my drivers window to see my mirror was wet... not frozen.. it was -7 celcius, no other windows melting yet... hmm weird... put my hand on it and it was warm!!!!
As it turns out, the 'rear' defrost not only defrosts the back window but heats the mirrors too!

how long did it take some of you to realize you had heated mirrors?

haha or who had to go check and JUST found out they do :P

I live in FL, and have never actually used my rear defroster so I didn't know this either haha.

They're nice! I'd like to put heated, signal, towing mirrors off an HD onto my Tahoe. Find me an economical set and I'll swap with you!

Yes, mine are power fold as well. That doesn't interest me so much though. Not really a feature I have a use for around here.
