Help with KIA?! What part is this?
Hey guys, I have a brake fluid leak in my 2003 kia spectra and i'm not sure what this part is called so I was hoping someone on here could help me out, I know most of the people on this forum are very nice and helpful so I thought i'd give it a shot, the kia forum is dead :P
Brake fluid is leaking from the top bolts of this splitter or whatever it is called
This is where all of the brake lines connect to from the bottom of the master cylinder... this is bolted to the firewall i believe.
As you can see one of the top bolts is removed, and the guts shown in the next picture...
And this is what is under one of the bolts...
If anyone knows what these parts are called or why it is leaking that would be beyond AWESOME, i'm not able to go to work until I repair this!!!
I know it's not a blazer, sorry guys that's why I posted in the lounge

looks like the brake proportioning valve

Agreed. My buddy has a kia and that's the only problem he had with it so far

Agreed as well. Be careful removing it if you need to. It's easy to strip the thread on the nuts so I would highly recommend using a flare nut wrench and I think it's 10mm.
