My wife bought one for me for my old '88 Chevy (full size p/u, 350ci). Either I am too dumb to put it on correctly or it was just useless because neither my butt-dyno or fuel mileage was affected in any way. I would not tell my wife (I don't want to hurt her feelings and she would never buy anything for my truck again ), but I personally think they are a waste of money.

All they are good for is lifting rednecks air cleaners up 2 more inches out the hole in the hood.

They are NOT a waste of money!

They make very unusual paper weights!

thanks guys but what could i do to get some power back that i have lost and get batter gas mileage

Try doing a complete tune up using quality parts and some Seafoam.

And You can always do an intake and exhaust as well later on down the road
AFTER A TUNE UP WITH ALL AC-DELCO PARTS
