the marines have already made an order for a replacement truck, but the army is still looking for an alternative. International was gonna offer up a truck, and it looked good, but I dont think the army ended up buying up in it. i drove one around during mob before i hit iraq. it was called something like MX or MT something like that. It's a version of that bad *** pick up they build, armor and all. Not the greatest design, but I think it was a lot better than then hmmwv

 

Was it the international giant super mega ultra truck? if so we had a couple through the MRAP program. Ended up using them as a mobile wall to fill an entrance control point on various FOBs. They were about 14' tall (maybe 12 honestly) and way to damn big for anything but MSR patrols and convoy security. Do you have a pic of what you are talking about?
