when I first started driving, i had a nissan 300zx...i detailed it almost daily...I degreased the engine every other day until it was prisitine (200k miles worth of leaks) The degreaser I used was from QC automotive Heavy duty engine degreaser..It was $0.99 and worked awesome, better then gunk and engine brite....I was bummed when they stopped selling it at any place around my house in southern california. Well, Im up here in reno, nevada. My little brother and I walked to mickey D's (practically on the corner) and for shyts and giggles, i stopped in the .99C store, and low and behold, there is a whole shelf of the stuff...I GRABBED IT ALL (what my brother and I could carry since we were on foot) I had to control my self otherwise I would have bought the cases in the back too...i walked out of there with 7 bottles....im about to go back for more ......


enough rambling....time to go degrease my engine bay.......nothing like swapping out engines elbow deep in 25 years of leaky valve cover gaskets, a busted power steering hose here and there, and the occasional spilled oil while filling the crankcase.......
