Default iPhone OBD scanner cord/app?

Does anyone use their iPhone to scan codes and check performance? Just curious on costs for apps, cords and how well it works.

Thanks

Android here with torque and a cheapo elm327 adapter from amazon.com. I think I have $20 in the whole deal.

X3 I use Torque for fuel economy, scanning etc. Waaaaay cheaper than even a cheapo scan tool. Torque has a track recorder which works well off-road, and a 0-60, 0-100, 1/8+1/4 mile and estimated HP. Dynolicious and REV are similar ones for IOS i think...

I don't know if it is against forum rules or not, but torque pro is on some torrent sites.
