Default It's a sad day... I got rid of my blazer.

After all the work I did to it. I fell into a deal on a full size truck. And then I needed something with good mpg's so the blazer got traded off today. This site has been awesome on finding out what common problems are, and how to fix them. I don't know why so many people ask the same questions over and over all the time. I almost always found what I needed in the "search" because this site is so large. And if not in the search, members always helped. My blazer had 217,495 miles on it, and it's still local to me. So hopefully it'll last another 200k for the new owner. Thanks guys! Oh.... and newbies.... Use the search function if you want to know if 31's will fit on your stock blazer! LOL!

Yeah man, steppin up to a fullsize! What did you get? Funny thing is the 5.3 in my fullsize totally gets better milage hotdoggin it, than the 4.3 in the blazer ever did babying it.

I'm going to get put on the wall of shame for this. But the deal I fell into on the full size was for a 2002 f150 fx4 ext cab with the 5.4v8. My buddy needed cash. So, I got it for $5000 and it books for $8400. And then I traded my blazer for a '02 ford ranger 2wd 2.3 liter, 5-speed for mpg's. I really was looking to get another 2wd s10 and take all my extras off of my blazer to put on it. But the only trades I got offered were for 4.3's. I was really wanting a 2.2 liter 5-speed. I had a '94 (new body style) and I got 27-29mpg all day long.
