lifter replacement 2002 v6 4.3

Default lifter replacement 2002 v6 4.3

do i have to remove the heads to remove the lifters.

No but you will have to remove the intake manifold.

On some of the older engines you could remove the valve covers and rockers and using a special tool remove the lifters. But on the 4.3 it has the roller lifters so you have to pull the intake manifold.
