Since I think about my old Jimmy or S10 every time I see pretty much any S series truck, I decided to jump on the forum again just to take a look at some of your rigs and see what's up. I figured I'd not only stalk the forum a little but also give you guys an update. It's been two and a half years since I've sold my Jimmy. In that time, I've been building and wheeling a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee TSi with a 5.2L Magnum engine. It's been a blast. As of now, it's currently sitting at a little over 4" of lift. For now, the vehicle is pretty much done until after my wife and I have our first child coming up in the next couple of weeks. I don't plan on upgrading much anytime soon but a rear locker and front LSD will eventually be on the way.
About a week after I got it (I tinted the windows right away)

2" Rubicon Express Budget Boost

4" of Iron Rock Offroad Lift (IRO 3.5" coils up front with .75" spacers, 3.5" coils out back that net 4.5" of lift, IRO short control arms, IRO adjustable Trackbars, JKS Swaybar Quicker Disconnects, Rough Country Nitro 9000 shocks, 31" Duratracs on US Wheels Stealth Crawlers, 703 injector swap, 1/4" plenum plate, Magnaflow exhaust, a small system, 5.9 Limited Grille, tinted signal lamps and mean eyes, and took out the leather for cloth)

Thanks. I used the Duplicolor brand nightshade. It worked pretty well. I did have to use a thin strip of black vinyl on the edge because it did look like it would peel on the edge. The angry eyes have held up for quite some time now, hitting brush on trails and tough brushed car washes. I though about Plastidip, but I figured that'd probably come off over time.
