Man that sucks completely? One bad apple spoils the bunch? I guess it really IS true. Why not ban the bad apple?

The OP thought it would be funny to be vulgar to everyone in live chat while impersonating other members. Since the current chat software has no provisions for moderation and banning from chat, there was very little that could be done to prohibit his stupidity.
*EDIT* - On the ban. Well, that has been done. Problem is, there is no integration between the forum database and the chat client. With no way to ban the person from the chat, he can come and go in there as he pleases. This is one thing that will have to be addressed before a live chat client will be put back into place.

Kyle you should look into the flash chat program seen on many sites now.
It's been used on SSA's site and on caraudio-forum for quiet some time. It has moderator privilages and all so users can be removed accordinly. The chat usernames are linked to your forum accounts so you can only log in with the right username/password combo

We're talking about bringing it into play on ROE soon also. It's also only 5 dollars and very customizable. I couldnt find what style forum this is (like phpbb or vbulliten) but they list the compatability on the site I linked.

John,
I have no control over what gets used as a chat client. From the looks of it though, the choices are very limited for the forum software that is used here (ASPPlayground.net).

He got what he deserved.
we all tried the whole name change thing at least once, but we never actually tried to pretend we were the real person, and he took it to a whole new level.
