Look at what I FOUND

I think THIS qualifies!
I also snagged a Troybilt Horse II cast iron rototiller from my father that didn't run. He was going to toss it. $60 worth of parts (carb, throttle cable, head gasket, etc) and It's been a monster ever since (4 years). I have since put a new set of lugged tires on it and just recently ordered a new set of tines. You can't beat those old cast iron rototillers!
My lawn mower was purchased from my uncle's next door neighbor. $200 for a '91 Simplicity 16LTH with under 800hrs showing on the hour meter. It came with the 44" belly mower, 42" push blade, and 42" single stage snow blower (w/ tire chains & weights). All I had to do was buy a new coil ($30) and new spindles/bushings ($60) and it was ready to go. The owner had a new hydro-stat drive belt and tensioner spring so I threw those on for good measure and changed out the motor & hydraulic oil. Been using that for 4 years now as well with over 1000hrs on it now. Only thing I have had to do is replace the deck belt, blades, the voltage regulator, and one front tire (the other 3 will be getting replaced soon).
