I didn't delve through the forum to see the actual lights, yet.

Okay, I found some pics of his homejob lights.
He painted the chrome trim black, and part of the lens black, but he looks like he would still have full brightness from his brake light.
I don't disagree that their is another side to the story one bit, but some of the things the judge said make me wonder.

Well illegal use of car parts(whether pontiac g8 parts or other automobile parts) is really a misconduct and rightful punishment is given since the copyright of the makers are violated. $85 fine was issued for the sail illegal tail lights. The bumper-mounted reflectors was also a problem. They said that even though parts are factory-installed and is approved by the US Dept. of Transportation it still doesn't jive with what the State considers legal.
