Default This mechanical but not a blazer were stumped

I have 07 Pontiac Torrent AWD. Scanned it, no codes. So why on my cluster display do I get: service stabilitrac, AWD off, service traction control along with ABS, and traction control lights. So we took it to the garage and was put on the most current computer and it said it was a front wheel bearing. So we replaced it and nothing. Now it had service tire pressure monitoring system and says my rear passenger tire is flat, but is fine. Dunno how I'm making it around this winter, my poor blazers sitting need money I don't have to get street legal still runnin strong though.

I didn't know a scan tool could detect a bad wheel bearing. What about a bad wheel speed sensor, or a corroded plug for a wheel sensor?

The code was likely concerning the WSS (wheel speed sensor) as Diata pointed out. The issue could be with the sensor itself (most of the time they are just dirty or have an improper air gap - both of which are repairable without replacing the sensor or the hub assembly), connections between the sensor and the EBCM (electronic brake control module), and/or the wiring itself. Rarely is the wheel hub assembly at fault for WSS codes.

If the shop just threw parts at the problem, I would go back and rip into them good as they didn't do their job at diagnosing the issue. If they do not want to work with you on properly fixing the issue at little to no cost to you, call the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and file a complaint against them.

This sounded like I was being a smart ***...I wasn't trying to be, it just came across that way, sorry.

Anyway, a good shop will certainly stand behind their work. Bring it back and they should fix it properly.

Default Figures

No such luck. Torrents are electrical nightmares. At least I can say it's my wife's car.
