Format>Columns>Choose one of the presets (1, 2, 3, Left, Right) or make your own specifying width and spacing. If you want two sided you can just make two pages with equal columns then use a copier to do 2 sided>2 sided. Or you can use the search on the top right to type in brochure and it will bring you to Word online (mine brings me to Office online) and it will show you all the templates available for brochures. From there you can download the one best suited for you and just change out the necessary information.

I find the templates are often easier and look better than I can make them look using the column approach. Let someone else do the work for you to get everything formatted and set up

Microsoft.com Templates homepage

Step 1: Search templates for brochures
Step 2: download your preferred layout
Step 3: enter your information into the template
Step 4: print and get that A+

A couple notes: Make sure you use internet explorer. You have to run an active x control that looks for IE and then auto loads the template into MS Word. Also make sure the template you download is for MS Word...alot of the brochure results are for publisher and front page.
