I'm looking into getting my wife and I our license so we can go shooting at the range. I've never owned a gun but I think it would be fun to shoot at targets.

Will have to admit, I don't mind the looks of that pistol but I'm more of a fan of the revolvers. When I turn 21 (I will be 20 in less than a month) I was going to buy myself a S&W Model 29 .44 Magnum revolver with a 6 1/2" barrel (yes this is basically the same pistol that is in the Dirty Harry movies lol) but I will be shelling out some serious money for that one...I would need to order a left-handed style for the cylinder to swing out on the correct side...but I believe that it would be well worth it for that. But other than that I have only shot my dad's old .22 revolver and it is way to freaking small for my hands

yeah i dont think i would try anything after 50yds personally windage and drop to much of a factor at that range even 50 yrds you have to aim pretty high and if the wind is blowing just a little i will miss

Despite all the hate the c9's get they are great guns for the price. I havent even been to the range with it yet and I already want the .45 verion to go with my c9.
