Default My new toy

Last week sunday I picked up this gem. Its a 1980 Honda xl250s, It has 4300 miles on it and the previous owner put a supertrapp muffler on it so it sounds real nice.

So heres what I have done so far; the turn signals didnt work so I did some investigating and the culprate was a severed ground wire in the main harness, None of the lights worked (neutral light, high beam light, and turn sig light) so i replaced the bulbs and vuala i have lights. It had no air filter so I mad a custom one since none were available at the local dealership, retuned the carb to deal with the new filter. It needs tires so i ordered some up.

Sorry for the novel but I just love this bike, its already saving me money on gas and it still works off road. which is good cause I love crusing the woods, and it will do 75mph so I can ride it on the highway.

Cool, so now you can trek way off the map in the truck and continue on the bike when things get tight.
