Default Need Stuff On My Walls

So I bought my first house a year ago, and aside from a framed certificate that says Board Certified Rackologist and a piece of art that my best friend made, I have nothing on the walls in my house. 1300 sqft of bare walls has gotten old. I think it goes without saying that I'm a car guy, so what are some good sites for manly home decor? (that sounds so contradictory) I've looked on ebay but nothing really blows my skirt up. I was thinking about just anchoring some cheap SBC headers to the studs over my tv in the living room. Maybe make some picture frames out of clutches? Some pistons and wrenches on the walls?

Ideas?

TBB- Yup, I have complete freedom... for now.

Tibby- you're most welcome, glad it went over well! And I would love to get a deer and see how my dog reacts. She might think we're hunting lol.

Petty- digging the Cars stuff, lol. My nephew would probably try to move in.

^Ya missed the point. The guys who do the sig graphics on here could design a fantastic custom fathead wall mural.

or....

When my kids were little, my wife took a picture out of a magazine, had me shoot it in 35 mm slide, borrowed a slide projector and painted kids' bedroom wall from the projection.

Bet someone you know has a video projector lying around somewhere.

I would recommend paint.

Possibly in a color that appeals to you. Or may even a combination of two or more colors?

Even big bucks look better when hung on painted walls. Pictures do too!

Just hang or paint or paste whatever you like. Just keep in mind, most ladies are not "impressed" with man caves. Whatever you go with, just keep in mind that tact goes a long way. What may be cool to you may turn off that young lady you invited over.

Very good advice. I've got all the painting done. Neutrals except the guest room which I also use for audio recording. Luckily I ran my idea of car parts on the wall by my gf and she really liked it. She's awesome. Had an idea at work- cut some wood to 8x10 boards, paint them black and stencil some lyrics on them. I'm a major music buff.
