Default New Headlights for the Tahoe - Help me choose!

So I hit a bird this weekend. Happened to hit right into the driver side headlight housing dead on the high beam (inside) part and broke away the mount for the adjuster and fubar'd the adjuster as well. Since I'm not too happy with the beam pattern from the HIDs in stock housings, I thought this would be a perfect time to upgrade to a set of projector housings for the low beam.

I'm not too fond of LEDs & HALOs, but there aren't many housings without them. I can just leave them disconnected since I'm having trouble finding housings that look good aesthetically that do not have them.

Here are a few choices I have looked up on eBay (choices are in no particular order):
Choice 1 -
I like the layout of this housing and the halos/leds don't stand out which is nice.

Choice 2 -
blacked out version of choice 1. Would look nice if I were to get around to painting the bow-tie in the grill and put a set of projectors in for the fog-lights.

Choice 3 -
Another not so bad looking housing. I wonder if the high beam pattern is affected by the halo ring floating out away from the reflector...

Choice 4 -
blacked out version of choice 3.

Choice 5 -
Similar to choice 3. I'm not too sure I like the 'arrows' on these.

Choice 6 -
blacked out version of choice 5.

Choice 7 -
These ones look a little too bug-eyed to me, but the picture on the truck looks like a bad photoshop.

Choice 8 -
Still look slightly bug-eyed (better picture in THIS AUCTION).

Choice 9 -
blacked out version of choice 8. Would need to buy the blacked out signal/drl housing for these.

Choice 10 -
IMO, the best looking housings w/o LED/HALO.

IMO,none of the blacked out versions would look all that great. I actually don't think blacked out lights look that great on anything but a black truck. I agree with you on the last ones though, they'd look pretty good I think.

I'm really leaning towards #10, but #1 looks fairly nice as well. #1 is spaced out a little more evenly than most of the other ones.

I would have someone do some photoshop work to see what the front end of the truck would look like with the black headlight & turn housings.

I vote for number 10. I just think they looked better than the others.

#10 imo Kyle. I've also seen a retrofit with RX projectors in those exact housings done, and they looked/performed great. If you want to get really adventurous I'd suggest that too

05 Z71 Tahoe Lexus RX Projector Retrofit

I know you're pretty handy with stuff so I really think you'd be able to do this no problem.

choice #10, i'd have to agree with you that leds, and halo's don't compliment these vehicles very well.

I was contemplating doing the Lexus RX/AFS retrofit on my stock housings before the one broke to pieces. It would be too much to resurrect at this point.

I'd probably go with 10, I'm not a huge fan of the two halo rings right next to each other on these trucks and the blazers.
