So guys, after reluctantly selling my Blazer for scrap, I have a new (to me) K5 on the way. It's a '94, body has 200k on it. Engine was done 100k ago, transmission 50k ago and rear end 20k ago so everything is brand new more or less. I picked it up for 1700 with BRAND NEW BFG mud tires on it. All it needs are front pads, rear shoes and hardware, and a muffler to be back on the road. The rot he talks about in the ad is a small hole on the rocker/cab corner, everything else is solid. I'll be picking it up Wednesday hopefully. Here's the CL ad for it.
