Default Nightmare in the carburators

so i have embarked in fixing my very first motorcycle a 1978 cb 550 it hasn't ran in 6 years and has been outside on it's side for 4 of them. luckely the bike was laid down with the batterie facing the ground so it didn't leak every were. but the carbs were sezed and after a little carb cleaner we got them moving agian. after deciding that we might be able to breath life back into this bike me and my dad decided to first rebuild the carbs............... fun. we got a gallon of carb cleaner and went to town on em. carb 1 eh little varnish not bad, floats were good, carb 2 little more varnish everything still moved, carb 3 floats didnt move but cleaned up nice, carb4........almost a solid glob of varnish and dirt and bugs nest in it. but after a good amount of tlc all of them are looking good. just waiting on $ for rebuild kits
