Default To part out or not?

Not sure where to post this question. Want to part out 99 Blazer LS with bad transmission. It is bone stock. Very good condition except for tranny. 200K, good glass, engine is sweet, all sheet metal is good including bumpers. Car has title. Canton Ga. Is there an effective way to unload parts other than online auction? Clubs? S10 Swap meets? Ideas?

Thanks, Crusty.

It would probably cost less to have the transmission rebuilt than the amount you'd get for parting it out. Even cheaper if you can pull the trans yourself. Even cheaper if you can rebuild it yourself.

X2 Yeah you'll never get that much out of it. Sucks but you'd be better off puttin a tranny in. .02
