well after some thought and wondering if its really worth the money, i decided to buy a scan gauge for the blazer. First impressions...this thing is great! I like to be able to monitor different things and i know that being able to see my instant MPG, i will get better fuel mileage. I took my truck around town to see what i would get just driving like i always have done. i would get around 10-13 MPG, now with keeping an eye on the gauge and my speed, i could keep it at 35mph and still average 17-22 mpg! i took it up to about 60mph and my mpg was right around 19-20 (going into the wind and driving slightly uphill ) but once i am done calibrating, i will post my figures on here.

I actually bought an MSD dashhawk for my car and used it for awhile. It worked really well but I decided that I did not have anywhere really good to mount it. So its been sitting in my closet for awhile now.

1 msd dashhawk for sale? haha

I too have been looking at the Scangauge2. There is a company on ebay that sells a rearview mirror mount for the unit. I measured mine and it will fit. I have a Autozone gift card from Christmas, and as soon as more funds become available I want to get one.
