Default Scangauge 2

Is anyone using this in their Blazer? Interested mainly for the mpg/fuel used features, I like the other gauges that it also provides. Is there anything with similar features that is better and/or more affordable?

I have seen those, I'm interested in something more permanent and i don't have much interest in a smart phone.

I'm glad I read this post just went to eBay and bought a elm 327 I hope it helps me get my blazer running. Does the elm 327 work as it says it should just plug it into dlc and goes straight to the smartphone?

Check out the video in the link below, it works great. I also have a Scangauge II which I have used and it works just fine as well.

It works as a scan tool, as well as displays realtime info. When I plugged it in and opened Torque, everything just worked, no fiddling. Well, lots of fiddling to customize gauges

The only issues I have found with it are when you enter into custom gauges. It allows you to enter codes (which can be found on the scan gauge website I believe) to add gauges that aren't preloaded on the device already (know as x-gauge). Some of the codes work, some dont. Overall, it's a great tool for checking multiple operating temps, fuel economy, and all sorts of stuff. Been using it for over 2 years and haven't found any other issues.
