Question Poll. CPI or TBI

Who thinks CPI is way more a pain in the *** than TBI?

My 89 is TBI ,and I think it is very reliable and easy to work on. From reading all the posts I am glad I do not have TPI.

I just got done fixing a problem with my CPI. I actually found it, after I figured out how it worked, very simplistic. I think I prefer CPI over TBI now that I understand the workings of CPI.

If you replace the problematic FPR with the updated SCFI FPR as offered by LinderTech.com, then the CPI motor can be just as reliable as a TBI motor with more power.

I have a 91 K1500 with the 350 TBI. Wonderful motor!!! Plenty of torque, simple to work on, and it's tougher than a junk yard dog! I've owned the SPFI Vortec L31. Also a great motor. Makes better power at higher RPMs, and is a little better on fuel. Both get a thumbs up in my book.
