Cool Rainy Sunday

So I'm sorta paying attention to the TV where 'Ghostbusters' just one of the landmark examples of Eighties Post-Disco cinematic art* is playing and I'm surfing the web, too.. and run across the blog of my favorite {well, ONLY... most got no damn sense of humor} Nietzsche-an {?} philosopher.

And she passes on a great short story worthy of Kerouac or one of those other phony mid-twentieth writers. Or maybe it was Vonnegut..

It reminds me of the time my girlfriend came into the room saying, more or less without real inflection, "I was hungry." She sat on the couch, and still in a sort of far-away kind of tone, "There was pie." Then she flopped over on the couch to stare at the ceiling, and concluded, "But it's gone now."
Too wordy for Steven Wright.

* Not kidding... more great -different- movies in the Eighties than any decade since the fifties.

Pretty sure to "understand" Kerouac and others of his ilk, one must be artificially enhanced.

Nothing against the OP.
