I love rallying . I use to go see the WRC in Wales in the rain and wind and loved every min of it. I can not believe there is a MKIII Ford Escort racing in that video. I wonder how it done against the Subarus?

Rallycross is a whole different sport. In the 80's Group B cars in rallying were being built by Audi, Ford, Peugeot and Rover. These were very fast and powerful cars that were pushing over 600BHP. after a few crashes and deaths, the Group B cars were banned and a lot of them ended up in Rallycross. Some of them even pushed beond the 700BHP mark and could go from 0-60 in less then 2.5secs. Nowdays the cars are pushing 500BHP but can still do 0-60 in less then 3 secs. But it's not about top speed, the Mini I had would only do 90MPH flat out but could do 0-60 inless then 5 secs. The group B cars that ended up in Rallycroos were banned in 1992.

These are not videos of my car, I never got any but here is a few so you can see what rallycross is.
The first video clip I was at. It was to be my last meet as well as I had my accident 2 days later. The Car leading is a Merto 6R4 with a bi-turbo 750BHP stright 6 in it. It was only the pro racing that was televised.

Fast forward a few years. Different cars but the same type of racing. The 2nd car is the same guy that was driving the winning car in the other video

OK, we're talking REAL european rally cross though right Jaxxon? lol. According to Jeremy Clarkson, North American's don't know what corners are, but the ZR1 disproved that theory.

Lol, I like Jeremy Clarkson because his comments about cars make me laugh (along with calling Keira Knightley an ironing board with a face), I don't take his word seriously lol. I don't take anyone's word seriously about cars just because one person's taste is different than mine. I'll drive the car myself and formulate my own opinion.

Back on topic... who thinks Ken Block is an intense driver?

Default Rally, nascar, supercross, all things fast

Rally racing is great. Heck if somebody figures out a new style of race I'll usually watch it. Vehicles going fast or otherwise pushing the limits of what the machine can do always makes me happy. trophy trucks, rally supercross, even nascar are enjoyable for me. Nothing like the sound of an engine somewhere between the point of giving all it's got and exploding is the second greatest sound in the world. Dirt 2 is a fun game have it and am enjoying it a lot lots of different racing to do on the game.
