So here is the story my wife quit her job due to sexual harassment as a Stock broker in South Carolina. After that i quit my job and we moved to my home town Flint Michigan. She filed for unemployment won it then he appealed it and she lost it but it didn't matter because she got a new job the day she lost it. So she she worked at her new job for about 8 months and then they down sized and the laid her off. So since she had a open claim in South Carolina she can only file down there so she did and won it right away.
Well today we got a letter in the mail about saying her past employer is filing another appeal.
Does this mean that she could lose her unemployment?
Can he Appeal again?
How can he appeal its not even under him...?
Any input would be grand.

I believe so, because she is filing against her old claim. She must not of worked long enough in Michigan to file there. So I believe the answer is yes she could. The only way it wouldn't be under him is if she could file in Michigan. So it is against him. He can appeal it forever if he wishes. Since she quit it will be hard to fight him. She needed to stay employed & file charges against the company with the State. But once she quit it is a he said, she said deal & the employers as a rule win.
