I hate Jeeps, They are honestly no better than anything but omg they have a badge with trail rated written on it, just like Ford Mustang drivers if would stop thinking they are the best it would be different. Im sure GM would have came out with something like this if everyone dident hop on the Jeep bandwagon because they think they are such strong offroad vehicles but the blazer and what not died out. I personally like the whole tent idea to the back of the truck but i cant lie the trailer is cool!

You can't be serious about Jeep Wranglers... right? If you are serious, show me a better out-of-the-box 4x4 you can buy in America. It is THE most capable rig on the trail. If you don't believe me, go drive one off road and then let me know what you think. I would never take my Blazer the places I've driven Jeeps. Blazers & Jeeps are not designed for the same purposes. Just like Hummers are great off road, but suck on the trail because of their size. I have a Mercedes Benz also, you should see how those guys act on that forum. They look down on everyone. It's just ridiculous. There is a reason why there are many styles of cars & trucks... so there is something everyone can enjoy.

Here is the inside of a truck tent on an Escalade/Avalanche with the mid-gate down.

Personally, I like Jeeps alot. They are obviously superior on the trails because of that whole....solid front axle...thing. lol. BUT! I don't think they are THAT much better. I follow them around alot...They are top heavy, often times too short, and have weak axles. As far as a "stock" vehicle off-road. Technically my blazer is still stock...at least that's what all my Jeep friends say. What I hate are the Jeep owners who look down on other off-road vehicles. I have followed them on the trails and still they talk trash. (mostly in good fun)

A little story...I once upon a time drove a Jeep XJ with a 4" Black Diamond suspension lift and loc-rite front locker that barely fit 31's. I'd take my blazer over that thing any day. They were VERY comparable off-road, the jeep lacked power...and don't even get me started on the MPG's.

Lol at the Mercedes Benz comment...I made some Land Rover guys angry at me today on youtube lol...

Note to self: don't compare blazer to Land rovers....people don't like paying more than you did for what is largely the same vehicle.

OK, those videos were painful to watch. The Rover was just pitiful... it got stuck in a tiny ditch. Really sad.
The Blazer vid was MUCH better, although it took a long time to get up that. You made it look much more technical & difficult than it was, but still showed up that Rover vid by a mile! The ditch the rover drove through could be done by a skilled driver in a car. What a joke that vid was. Vehicles are made for different purposes... like that Rover for example is designed to be valet parked.

Did you put your vid up as a reply?

Had a Cherokee and drove my buddies Wrangler many of times and I still find no way that anyone of them is better. The only thing is the wrangler was smaller. I could hardly fit in my Cherokee nor was it comfrotable and my blazer is that much bigger, more comfortable, has more power to move itself and can do anything a Jeep can. I stand stand firm, I might have got a lemon but Junk Each and Every Part!

Ok, I was kidding with that vid too, but watch this and tell me your taking your mostly stock Blazer through this as easily...

As I said before, there are many types of vehicles, for many types of uses. I am not dissin the Blazer in any way, hell I own one! But I also own a Jeep, and I know each of their limitations. I know this thread is about as useful as a thread on which is the best type of oil to use, but it is fun to debate it.
As far as the Jeep vs Blazer off road thing, I will continue to cast my vote for the Wrangler. Remember, it's a Jeep thing, and you wouldn't understand

I totally agree, Im not argueing but Ive had a Jeep and they arent any better from MY opinion. Also none of those Jeeps in those videos were stock! So against a stock blazer and a stock Jeep as we were orginally talking about im not sure who would win and what not. The only thing I found a Jeep that has an advantage over is the Solid Front axel and im not even sure they are doing that anymore. (Dont hold me to it) I dont like Independant suspension because its more for comfort then offroading strenght and what not but tell that to the H1 which smashes everything!

P.S.- I got your Jeep thing and now it hurts when I pee
