I just got my dads 97 GMC Jimmy 4x4 from my nephew in-law in pretty bad shape . I traded him my Ford Taurus wagon for it . Anyways thanks to yalls posts on the dreaded P0300 code I figured out my problem [ distributor was installed wrong ] I think I got the 4.3 figured out now . Had a few electrical issues again yalls post helped a lot . Thanks a bunch yall are great folks . I'm from Texas pardon the " Yalls " .
Next thing is re-doing the tranny 3-4 clutch pack gone .
