I had this old JD 316 just sitting around and a guy at work had a 83' chevy 1 ton duelly sittin around at his house. It was an old nascar showcar truck. Had all the goodies on it, dressed up with every add-on they made for it but, the body was really rough. Ran damn near perfect though! Planed on it being a project truck till work got slow and wife got sick of it in the back yard. Drove it to the junk yard and got 550bucks for it cuse it scaled at 6200lbs. I wish I had found this site first, I'm sure somebody could have used that 454. It wasn't at the junk yard long before it was just a shell, somebody even took the carpet!! it was a bonus cab (4 door) Someday I want to get one with a better body, I love that body style

 

Lol. Yea. Should have stole the engine. You could have got 500+ for a good 454 out here. Did the same thing with some fords. Cost more to fix then worth so drove them to scrap yard
