What Does Everyone Do For a Living??
I guess I will bite as well. I work on my family's grain farm, even though I think some of you guys may have ready known that. Farm about 1000 acres of corn, soybeans, and wheat combined
Well I used to be a machinist building parts for custom private jets but that was a few years back. Now I work for a small family owned high end (american made only) furniture store as the logistics and customer service manager. I can truly say that I love my job! I get paid $8-10 more than a comparable position in my area, I get great bonuses, I have a company vehicle that I drive everywhere, and I have the best boss in the world!! If I need to take time off for any reason I am not questioned and its never an issue, I work by myself all day in a 3500sqf warehouse and I love not having anyone breathing down my neck! The logistics side is just keeping all of the inventory in order (receiving, organizing, and scheduling it for delivery). I am in charge of about $4million in inventory annually which is alot considerering we only have 7 employees including the two owners!! The customer service side is the fun part (most of the time) I get to repair and restore high end furniture in multi million dollar homes! Most of the time its fun but I have some customers that think because they are rich the world should revolve around them and in my world theirs is pretty unimportant lol!! So yeah thats what I do!!
Sorry it was a bit long!
