What's the worst MPG You have ever heard? For me it is 0.24MPG.
A friend of mine, while our chat on tuning told me to google for "tsunami calibra" ride:
https://translate.google.com/transla...00km-1400nm%2F
That ride has insane 2272whp with 2200Nm torque. Acceleration 1.7 from 0 to 100km/h. I've found an interview with two builders - brothers enthusiasts - where they laugh about the fuel consumption: 1l per 100m or 0.24MPG. Shocking, ain't it?

I don't know how I stumbled across this post, but the worst I've ever had was 3.6 mpg while driving an up armored Suburban in Iraq. We didn't take off slow, nor did we come to a stop slowly. Truth is we didn't ever want to come to a complete stop when traveling from point A to point B. We would go from the Green Zone with 4-5 civilians out to a FOB for 4 days, and then back to the Green Zone once a week. While at the FOB we had to escort the civilians everywhere they needed to go, to include inside any buildings and meetings.
We never got below a 1/2 tank but had to fill up twice a week putting less than 100 miles on the vehicles between fill ups. There were no gas stations that we used as the military had our own refueling depot. At least I wasn't paying each time, well, I guess I was indirectly. Now that I think about it, my pay was exempt from income tax while I was there, so I guess I only paid for it before and after I was there.

I had a dodge van that I used to haul auction equipment back in 2000. I over did it and stripped out top gear. I drove for two weeks on second gear, around houston. I was getting MAYBE around 5mpg. Not that the original top mpg was good, at 14mpg with the 318. But once I was stuck to second gear it was pretty much over.
