dropping the jimmy

Default dropping the jimmy
i have a 2000 jimmy 2Dr 2WD. I am dropping it 2" in the front with springs and 3" in the back with blocks. I have 2 month old shocks on it now. Would i need to get new shocks? Also will i need to get an alignment after the drop?
