Researching 98+ 4x4 lowering
So I've been doing a lot of research, and from what I can gather all of the complete kits appear to be available only for the 94-97 model year 2nd gens. Everything gets squirrelly once you hit 98+
Fortunately for us, it's a pretty simple suspension set up, torsion keys in the front, and leaf blocks in the rear, upgrade your shocks. I've found the following parts that appear to be compatible with 98+ 4x4 vehicles, any feedback is appreciated.
Front lowering: Belltech Torsion Bar Key (pair) compatible with 82-04 S10 based 4WD vehicles, drop provided: 1-3". Part number: 3922 Link: https://www.belltech.com/belltech-82...-1-3-3922.html
Rear lowering: Belltech lowering block kit compatible with 2.5" and 3" wide leaf springs, drop provided: 3". Part number: 6200. Link: https://www.belltech.com/products/be...drop-6200.html
Shock Absorbers: Belltech Street Performance set (4). Part number: 9590. Link: https://www.belltech.com/products/be...ance-9590.html
Total price excluding tax/shipping: 372.94
If this is all thats needed to drop the 4x4 model, I think that's a pretty respectable price, only other thing I can think of needing to replace might be the bump stops. Thoughts?
