Default 1999 Jimmy to 1997 Blazer frame swap

so i have a 1997 Blazer that has a few mods done to it like already has new shackles and lift on it bunches of brandy new parts but shes ugly with rust and body mounts need attention on vehicle side so i found a rust free 99 Jimmy and want to put the body on the 97 frame, im savvy that i have to use the 99 computer to control the 99 dash and vice versa but 97 loyal as frig blazer has a 3 button transfercase and 99 sweetheart body has a 4 button what im really asking is for advice on swapping the 99 body to 97 dash and wiring and using the NP 232 or swap to the 4 button all wheel drive and use all of the 99 wiring all around, really just looking to get it done as cheap and easy as possible with as few headaches as possible and its my first swap so any advice or opinions would be amazing to hear, oh and the 99's problem is the engine wiped the bearings so she knocks

so i just seen that i wasnt suppose to ask a question here so ill do the intro too, sorry i seen too late Mods, but i love my old blazer a 97 with 260k miles on the clock and all shes ever really had was a trans rebuild a few years back and wear items so this year i decided to give her a whole new suspension with a 2.5 RC lift and everything else including all bushings brandy new and make her a little trailable and drive like new but after i got under her i seen she was a little too far gone in the cabs body mount department . floors ugly after this winter. so she needs a new body and i found a real nice 99 jimmy with zero rust and only 1 real small ding with a blown motor. this truck has always been loyal so shes worth a face lift. couple ods left after this like a winch a a rear selectable locker and ill have what i call a nice truck again

Welcome to the Blazer Forum.

You may want to ask in the builds section. Many swaps have been done by members in the past.
