Default Bought a S10 Blazer

Hello all,

I recently purchased a 2002 S10 Blazer to do a v8 5.3 swap.
I think i found a good one to use as a platform because its a 4.3 5 speed with the 8.5in rear and zero rust thanks to Texas. Im going to feel kinda bad tearing this thing apart because it runs great and has zero issues.

im on a 47-54 chevy truck board and them guys are ripping apart good running s10s left and right due the frame working perfect under neath the short beds. i think these trucks are still too new for anyone to really throw a fit yet. just sell off the motor im sure someone out there wants it

Hello and welcome. I'm new to this site myself. I like to swap to the 5.7, a friend of mine told me that it would be easier to run a 2002 model 5.7 with a throttle cable and that the connectors would fit almost perfect. We'll see, good luck on your build and keep us posted. Thanks Rex
