Checking in fron Southern Pa.
Hey there everyone.
Happy New Year to all.
Just, officially, checking in my noob status and saying hello. Moved from Baltimore, Md early 2010, Got tired of the crime and HATE. Now, I live in the lower Susquehanna Valley, aka Southern Pa, aka Adams County, aka York, aka ...... WTF??? Never knew one place can have so many names...LOL!
Thanks to the Mods for this forum, and to all of you for your contributions! I've been googling info for a bit now, but finally decided to register about a week ago.
Got a LT '95 Vin-W with the "OMG!!" Spider 6cyl; just hit the 200K mark with few major issues (replaced 1 of the oil relocator lines when I first got it, and the other still has a small leak but never replaced it), until I let my ex ride it up and down I-83 at 85mph every day like a car! Bought it with 150K, never did anything more to it in 50K miles than gasNgo with regular gas and oil changes every 3K or so with Dino oil. Just had to finally do tune-up when fuel reg went wacko, so did wires+plugs (they came apart in the mech's hands... even the plugs crumbled to dust
), dist cap+rotor, fuel regulator, new fuel lines (under the plenum... were brittle and crumbled), and a new fuel filter.
Pretty good for a 200K mile, 16yr old, service vehicle (originally a fleet vehicle for a Security company and then I used it for towing a landscaping trailer and janitorial supplies), if I must say.
