I think I have most of the bugs worked out. I'm under $800 in all including purchase, toowing, inspection, registration, battery, coolant, steering hoses, frost plugs, and a lot of small pick n pull parts like door handle, IAC valve, brake caliper and heater switch panel. Not much left to do but the pitman arm and a lot of worn bushings. Since I dont pay labour, only parts it sure has been worth my while!

Here it is cleaned up

Found a good deal for my "good deal". At the pick n pull today I got an almost new (still has a few manufacturing spikes) set of Dayton Timberline A/T II's on American Racing "avenger" rims for $220 at the front door. I prefer the factory wheels that I have over these aftermarkets, so I'm going to mount the tires on my factory rims and will sell the new ones to recover some of the cost. This keeps me in my small budget while having a well rated tire.
My intention was to fix the jimmy and sell it, but it's grown on me and I may keep it over the next winter after all, especially since almost everything has been repaired and I'm still under 900 bucks all-in
