Got My First Blazer
Hello, my name is Brad and I just purchased a '99 Blazer LS 4x4 with 133,000 miles. I have previously had a '92 and '01 s10 pickup, both with 4.3 v6, but this is my first blazer and first 4x4.
I have spent the last week crawling under and over it replacing vacuum lines (one to the 4x4 actuator which had melted to liquid on the exhaust manifold). I know have working 4x4. About the only things that still don't work are the vent controls and the rear wiper.
I may do a few upgrades or accessories over time, but this is mainly meant as a street vehicle with the ability to handle snow in the winter and perhaps less than ideal roads on camping trips and such.
I will say both the headlights and reverse lights seem about as bright as a book match. I wouldn't mine replacing these and even adding some extra lights to front and back.
