Welcome to the forum. I have only one question. Why do you want to convert to a carburetor, when fuel injection (even TBI) is far superior?

 

Well, the very relative superior concept. The country in which I live, Colombia, is not prepared to find easy solutions and spare parts for electronic and sophisticated problems, however Colombia is full of good mechanics who know how to solve the failures of classic mechanics. The carburation is for me superior in this aspect.

 

This is a good reason! Keep things simple so that repairs are easy.

An example of what I say: Fault in the crankshaft output in my other car (Chevy Chevelle Malibu Wagon 1965) in the middle of the Andes mountains, nearby I find a mechanic who repairs it by making a shirt with a can of Coca Cola and glue, I finish the trip without problems.
