Greetings from the Texas Winter Wonderland
Hello everyone, my name is Chris and I reside in west Texas. I’m new to the forum, obviously, but not new to s10/blazers. My current ride is a 98 Blazer 4 door 2WD. I just completed a V8 swap on it. This is my 2nd v8 swap build. My first was a 91 short bed reg cab s10. It has an LB9 305 from a z28 Camaro as a place holder for my 383. My 305 is a mild build I slapped together. Pocket ported and matched heads. Blueprint Engines crate engine cam. .495/.503 lift 220/224 @ .050 112 LSA. Headers and an Edelbrock EPS intake. Backing it is a worked 700r4 to a Yukon gear locked 10 bolt. I joined the forum to link up with some people with common interest and to look into doing a solid axle swap. I’m very mechanically inclined. Lots of experience building things. I work at a shop that does a lot of fab and race work. Can’t wait to finally get to know people who share my s10 love.

These are a few pictures I have on hand. Before hand, 4.3 on the ground(spun bearing, bought it that way) and the last one is my warmed over 305 right before install. I retained heat, power steering, power brakes, A/C and the serpentine belt drive. Motor is carbureted for now. I’ll be going with some form of injection on the motor swap. Just wanted this one on daily driving duty ASAP.
