i need 4.3 vorteck bad! I have a nice 97' 4x4 drove it for 2 months and it blew a rod out the side of the block. On further inspection two rivets from a plate on the bottom side of the throttle body came loose and went in the engine. I'm def keeping the blazer and need a good power plant. when all is done it will be mostly stock with some "hot Rodin". exhaust cam. ignition. cold air. ext, but basically a cool daily driver.
