Default hello

hello
i am a new member of the blazer brother hood. i recently purchased a 1999 4x4 S10 2 door Blazer. It has the 4.3 liter V6, power windows, locks, and sunroof. i have added a hi-flow air filter from AIRAID. that gave me about a 10% mpg improvment. the only thing i wish it had was a spear tire end gate because that full size spare tire takes up alot of the space in the rear cargo area. If any one has any thing that will help me improve my nice little ride just let me know,

Welcome to the forum, glad to have you!!! If your lookin at opening up some room on the inside of the back you can get a spare tire rack off another blazer and add it to yours!! Rcars2 did that to his and if you pm him and ask he can tell you exactly how to do the conversion if your interested!!

welcome to the forum, i acually like the look of the 2 door without the tire, but yes cargo room with that stupid tire in the back doesnt look so hot, expecially if you plan on doing a system.

if you have a hitch you can always buy a spare tire holder that goes into that

glad to have you. Welcome! I had the same problem with my 2door. I eventually just stopped carrying the spare tire.

Welcome to the forum. Besides getting a tire rack off of another blazer, or getting the hitch mounted style, you could just get a tie down bracket and some straps for the roof and mount it on the roof racks. Or get a basket for the roof and bolt it down the the basket (plus then you got a nice easy way of mounting fog/driving lights).
