Default hello all..

Hi guys. I'm new here, have a 91 suburban and was looking for a smaller suv. I went out to find a 79 bronco but the one I found was 1700 with alot of problems (no fan, lots of leaks, lots of rust and body damage, and converted to a pickup). On the way home..I saw a 79 blazer. Half the price, looked nicer, ran well though I suspect it needs new suspension and has an oil leak or two. But it looks like I'll be playing with that soon (1979 is my birthday and I want something with some meaning). I'll be around a bit getting ideas and help most likely I'm new at this mechanic thing so I'm going to have alot of questions and alot to learn, but what better way? Any technical info on the blazer would be great. Seems the 79 bronco was a really well built machine I'm hoping the blazer is in the same ball park.
