Default Hello, all...

...please allow me to introduce myself...

......

...my name is Todd, and I found this forum while looking for some ideas on what to do about that miserable P0440 code...
...now, I do not actually own a Blazer ...but I suppose a 2001 Jimmy SLE 4x4 won't disqualify me (the site says something about 'Blazers and related vehicles'... )...it's stock (and I don't intend to modify it; it's my main transportation and, well, that's not really 'my thing' )...
...I've had the Jimmy for about four years, and I have had to do some work on it (or have it done...I had to have the transmission repaired a couple years ago; that 'reaction sun shell' that apparently was a common failure in those let go and I had no reverse)...but it is a reasonably good vehicle and I intend to hang on to it as long as I can...
...I'm getting on a bit in years (57 later this month), so my ability to do my own work is likely to diminish, but I do as much as I can...can't afford the alternative ...

...anyway, for better or worse, here I am...hopefully I can get (and share) some useful information...
