Default Hello everyone.

Hello, my wife and I own a red 2001 4 door 4x4 Blazer. We bought the Blazer with 22,000 miles on it about 7 years ago, now has 136,000 miles on it.

So far our Blazer has been fairly trouble free, mostly the normal things you expect to wear out. I have a few problems starting to crop up(ABS light on for one).

I live in central Illinois and like to do most of my own repairs on my vehicles. I have a couple older Chevy's that I have found invaluable info on at another forum, so when I ran across this forum I new I needed to join. Hope I can help others as much as I know they will help me.

Welcome.

01's are NOTORIOUS for the ABS light along with a parking brake light sometimes. Look into modulemaster.com. They'll rebuild your ABS module and warranty for like 135 bucks.

Default Wow!

Thanks for the super fast response. Sounds like your saying I will probably find the module bad. I checked out ModuleMaster and have them in my favorites.

Thanks again for the help.

It could be a number of things, but it seems that usually the fix. Check out this thread, there's alot of good info there! You'll see 8 or 9 guys on the forums with 01's have encountered the same problem..
