Default Hello from Minnesota!

I got my summer car put away and bought a Blazer for winter Love it. One thing tho... I didn't really notice that it doesn't have a rear wiper or a rear defrost.... WTH.. Anyone have a good idea for mounting a wiper or any other remedy for snow/rain removal? The buttons seen in this photo are not there on my truck

Also I have that giant spare in the back of the truck. Anyone have any ideas for mounting that on the back or on the roof?

Any amount of feedback would be awesome.

Well if you have the rear split tailgate that could explain why you don't have a windshield wiper. As for rear defrost, probably just wasn't ordered I suppose. You could get a underbody spare tire mount, out of sight out of mind. They do though have a reputation of rusting and not working, but they are probably cheaper than a rear mount tire carrier.

There is a thread on here on how to mount a swing out carrier somewhere. Just find that and you should be set.

Best of luck to ya man!

Welcome from MN! I am from MN as well. Where about?
If you do not have a rear wiper/defrost, You can check back there for the wiring... underneath that top panel.
If the wiring is not there. You might be SOL.
But honestly, the rear wiper seems so usless to me. and the rear defroster in the 93 Jimmy we have has not worked since we got it. So I think you will be find without if you have a good snow brush.

But, that being said.. WELCOME TO THE FORUM! I hope you were not north of the metro.. cause you got DUMPED with snow.. haha!

ahhh...... you got a good bit up here. I am in Saint Louis Park. We only got about 3.5" here.

Random note, if you have ever been in the fox9 weather chat room. I am the person who has been moderating that chat room for the last 4 years.

Enjoy all that snow!
