My name is Bob, and I recently purchased a 1998 jimmy with an engine knock.
I used to do all my own repairs, but had gotten lazy the last few years.
So I figured I should do the swap my self.
Wake up call! Things aren't as simple as they were 30 years ago, & I am not as agile as I once was.
We (I drafted my grandson to help) got the replacement engine in and will be ready to start it in a day or two.
So I figured I better find a site where I can see how others solve these problems, and find out the good and not so good points to owning a jimmy.
