Default Hey everyone!

Just picked up a 1998 Blazer, 4DR 4x4, black. 168,000 original KMs (105,000 miles) in all around not too bad shape. Interior is a little rough and will need some work as does the exterior, but no egregious rust and only minimal surface rust. No electrical gremlins etc so far. I'm taking delivery in a couple days, just need time away from work and for some cash to free up to shore up the balance owing. Picked it up for 2500 canadian, which is approximately 1900 USD.

Not sure what if any grand plans I'll have for it just yet, but for sure new carpet, headliner, swap out seats and rear bench for leathers, fix a few interior panels here and there and do a full stereo install. After that I'll probably take care of the minor body issues and get a Maaco re-spray just to freshen it up, and probably do a por-15/undercoating treatment on the chassis/underbody.

I'll have pics after taking possession.

Same, I'm planning some longer distance road trips with the Blazer out east (I'm from the West Coast) once I get it sorted out and cherry

Ever since I bought ours a few years back, it's been to Florida and back twice, once with a tent trailer, and a 2500 mile horseshoe road trip for 8 days, countless camping trips, a few mild off road trails, all as a DD. Shes off the road for now, but my blazer found is growing quick, so wont be long. Bought her at 180--- km, now a it's got easily 325---km. Got a build thread on here.

Any good trails out that way? Even just leisurely driving is great to do in these lol

I'm sure there are some good trails out this way, but I just haven't taken the time to go looking for them. We only just moved back 3 months ago, and when we were here 5 years ago I didn't have a trail worthy vehicle.
