hey people, just got bought a 97 bravada for dirt cheap. Lots of little stuff wrong with it but it gives me something to do. It's your typical craigslist special, previous owner only had it for a year and couldn't tell me anything useful about it. 190k miles on it, scratched up paint but no rust. Engine seems to be in great shape, popped the hoop and almost everything under the looked brand new. All the wire harnessess and hoses and clamps had that new parts shine. All the fluids were full and clean. Tranny seems to be top notch. Couldn't pass it up for the $1000 price tag. After searching the web for a few hours it looks like my new Bravada isnt alone with all the little problems that i'm slowly finding.....So anyways, I'm a family man with 3 kids, was a concrete guy for 15 years until the economy took a dive. Currently getting my welding ATA in the socialist state of WA. Not a mechanic by any means but i've always liked wrenching on my own vehicles.
